KMR is acutely aware that procurement provides opportunities for expanding economic growth, creating decent jobs and widening market access to the country’s goods and services.
In support of this, we are contributing to the economy of the Northern Cape through our Procurement, Enterprise and Supplier Development Programme (PESDP). We are actively ensuring that we procure the bulk of our goods and services from local SMME’s / service providers.
We provide support to local suppliers as well as to enterprises that do not necessarily provide any services or products to KMR through our Enterprise and Supplier Development Programme (ESDP). We have funded various initiatives to enable these local SMMEs and businesses to thrive and be sustainable.
